Terroir & Vinification
Planted in argilo-limestone and marl, the vines grow on the first slopes of the Cévennes foothills. A selection of the best fruit is taken from different plots in the vineyard. Vinification is traditional: maceration for two weeks; gentle extraction during a controlled fermentation at less than 28°C. Suppleness and varietal aromas are attained.Tasting notes
Colour: crimson with purple reflections.
Nose: complex, full, elegant. Lightly baked black fruits, cinnamon, pepper and a hint of chocolate.
Palate: rounded, full, juicy with ripe tannins. The finish is slightly minty at first, followed by lovely notes of spice and chocolate.
