Terroir: argilo-limestone soils and limestone marls in the foothills of the Cévennes. Different plots in the vineyard are chosen for the best grapes. A two-week maceration, then gentle extraction throughout the fermentation process (under 28°C) results in the varietal aromas being fully expressed in the wine, and finesse on the palate.
A beautiful crimson colour with violet tones. On the nose, small-berry fruits, sweet spice, and a hint of chocolate. Rounded on the palate with ripe but easy tannins, and notes of menthol, cinnamon and chocolate.
Le Confidentiel Cabernet-Sauvignon is a perfect match for meat dishes with herbs, such as a rack of lamb or a pork tenderloin.
